Trey Caldwell, a junior at Concord De La Salle High in California, finished fifth in the 5-kilometer boys championship race in 15:27 at the Foot Locker West Regional at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Caldwell earned a return trip to the national final Dec. 9 at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif., looking to improve on a 30th-place performance last season.
