California competitors Melisse Djomby Enyawe of Corona del Mar, Shea Volkmer from Campolindo and Olivia Williams of Acalanes placed fifth, seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 5-kilometer girls championship race at the Foot Locker West Regional at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Djomby Enyawe clocked 18:02, with Volkmer and Williams both finishing in 18:11, as the trio all qualified to race Dec. 9 at the national final at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif.
